About the Bruhman Translator's Bible

The BTB gives English-speaking readers a way to study the Scriptures in their original Greek and Hebrew. Every verse is presented word by word in an interlinear format, and every original-language word links to a comprehensive lexical entry — so you can study, analyze, and understand the meaning of each word for yourself.

What you'll find

• Interlinear verses — each verse broken down word by word in Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic, with a literal translation, transliteration, and morphology for every word.
• Multiple translations — a traditional translation from the majority text, a modern translation from the critical text, and a literal word-for-word rendering of the original languages.
• Full chapters — complete chapters from the majority text, with the words of Christ in red letters and hundreds of thousands of footnotes.
• The Septuagint (LXX) — the Greek Old Testament known to the New Testament authors, in interlinear form with word-for-word translations and cross-referenced with the Masoretic text. The LXX is the edition of Scripture most often quoted or referenced in the New Testament.
• Comprehensive lexicons — Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Each word links to its lexicon entry, compiled from multiple sources and disambiguated: clicking "Mary," for example, shows the entry for that specific person, not just the general name.
• Scripture cross-references — see where verses quote, reference, or allude to other passages, especially helpful when studying New Testament citations of the Septuagint.
• Translator's Notes — explanations of word-order differences, variant spellings and definitions, and textual variations across sources.
• Nave's Topical Concordance — more than 20,000 topics and sub-topics linking to over 100,000 passages.
