And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:

Then I said: “O LORD, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion with those who love Him and keep His commandments,

וָ אֹמַ֗ר אָֽנָּ֤א יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַ שָּׁמַ֔יִם הָ אֵ֥ל הַ גָּד֖וֹל וְ הַ נּוֹרָ֑א שֹׁמֵ֤ר הַ בְּרִית֙ וָ חֶ֔סֶד לְ אֹהֲבָ֖י ו וּ לְ שֹׁמְרֵ֥י מִצְוֹתָֽי ו ׃
