Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king’s work, offered willingly,

Then the leaders of the families, the officers of the tribes of Israel, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and the officials in charge of the king’s work gave willingly.

וַ יִּֽתְנַדְּבוּ֩ שָׂרֵ֨י הָ אָב֜וֹת וְ שָׂרֵ֣י ׀ שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְ שָׂרֵ֤י הָ אֲלָפִים֙ וְ הַ מֵּא֔וֹת וּ לְ שָׂרֵ֖י מְלֶ֥אכֶת הַ מֶּֽלֶךְ ׃
