In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

On the first day you are to hold a sacred assembly; you are not to do any regular work.

בַּ יּוֹם֙ הָֽ רִאשׁ֔וֹן מִקְרָא ־ קֹ֖דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָ כֶ֑ם כָּל ־ מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ ׃
