So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.

Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the Desert of Shur. For three days they walked in the desert without finding water.

וַ יַּסַּ֨ע מֹשֶׁ֤ה אֶת ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מִ יַּם ־ ס֔וּף וַ יֵּצְא֖וּ אֶל ־ מִדְבַּר ־ שׁ֑וּר וַ יֵּלְכ֧וּ שְׁלֹֽשֶׁת ־ יָמִ֛ים בַּ מִּדְבָּ֖ר וְ לֹא ־ מָ֥צְאוּ מָֽיִם ׃
