My God sent his angel, and he obstructed the mouths of the lions, and they did not lay me waste; for before him uprightness was found in me; and even before you, O king, I did not commit a transgression.

ο θεός μου απέστειλε τον άγγελον αυτού και ενέφραξε τα στόματα των λεόντων και ουκ ελυμήναντό με ότι κατέναντι αυτού ευθύτης ευρέθη εν εμοί και ενώπιον δε σου βασιλεύ παράπτωμα ουκ εποίησα
