LXX:
And Joab the [son of] Zeruiah began to count among the people, and he did not complete it. And anger against Israel happened because of this. And the number [was] not set down in writing in a scroll of [the] matters of the days of king David.

και Ιωάβ ο του Σαρουϊα ήρξατο αριθμείν εν τω λαώ και ου συνετέλεσε και εγένετο εν τούτω οργή επί Ισραήλ και ου κατεχωρίσθη ο αριθμός εν βιβλίω λόγων των ημερών του βασιλέως Δαυίδ
