LXX:
And they leaned before [the] man of Israel in the way of the wilderness, and the battle upon them unawares; and the ones from the cities -- they utterly destroyed them in their midst.

και έκλιναν ενώπιον ανδρός Ισραήλ εις την οδόν της ερήμου και ο πόλεμος κατέφθασεν επ΄ αυτούς και οι από των πόλεων διέφθειρον αυτούς εν μέσω αυτών
