LXX:
And the man the master of the land said to us, By this I will know that you are peaceable, you leave one of your brothers here with me! and the purchase of the provision for your house having taken, you go forth!

είπε δε ημίν ο άνθρωπος ο κύριος της γης εν τούτω γνώσομαι ότι ειρηνικοί εστέ αδελφόν υμών άφετε ένα ώδε μετ΄ εμού τον δε αγορασμόν της σιτοδοσίας του οίκου υμών λαβόντες απέλθετε
