Profile

Hukkok • A town on the border of Naphtali

Hukkok, a town on the border of Naphtali (Joshua 19:34).

Hukkok was a town located on the border of the territory allocated to the tribe of Naphtali (Joshua 19:34). It was situated in the northern part of Canaan, but its precise location is uncertain. Some scholars suggest it may be identified with the modern village of Yaquq, northeast of the Sea of Galilee.
