__I of clothes, etc., put them on a person, with double accusative person et of things, ἀμφὶ δέ με χλαῖναν.. βάλεν ἠδὲ χιτῶνα[Refs 8th c.BC+]:—middle, put round oneself, δὸς δὲ ῥάκος ἀμφιβαλέσθαι[Refs 8th c.BC+]; ἄγραν.. ἀ. πλοκάμοις[Refs 5th c.BC+]
