For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

I will defend this city and save it for My own sake and for the sake of My servant David.’”

וְ גַנּוֹתִ֛י אֶל ־ הָ עִ֥יר הַ זֹּ֖את לְ הֽוֹשִׁיעָ֑הּ לְמַֽעֲנִ֔י וּ לְמַ֖עַן דָּוִ֥ד עַבְדִּֽ י ׃
