LXX Jeremiah 40:15
LXX:
And Johanan son of Kareah said to Gedaliah secretly in Mizpah, I will go indeed, and I shall strike Ishmael son of Nethaniah, and let no one know! lest he should strike your soul, and should scatter all Judah, the ones being brought together to you, and they shall destroy the rest of Judah.

και Ιωανάν υιός Καριέ είπεν τω Γοδολία κρυφαίως εν Μασσηφάθ πορεύσομαι δη και πατάξω τον Ισμαήλ υιόν Ναθανία και μηθείς γνώτω μη πατάξη σου ψυχήν και διασπαρή πας Ιούδας οι συνηγμένοι προς σε και απολούνται οι επίλοιποι Ιούδα
