And they hired for themselves two and thirty thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people. And they came and camped before Medeba. And the sons of Ammon gathered together from out of their cities, and they came to wage war.

και εμισθώσαντο εαυτοίς δύο και τριάκοντα χιλιάδας αρμάτων και τον βασιλέα Μααχά και τον λαόν αυτού και ήλθον και παρενέβαλον έμπροσθεν Μηδαβά και οι υιοί Αμμών συνήχθησαν εκ των πόλεων αυτών και ήλθον εις το πολεμήσαι
