And Esau having seen that Isaac blessed Jacob, and sent [him] into Mesopotamia of Syria to take to himself a wife from there -- in the blessing him, and gave charge to him, saying, You shall not take a wife of the daughters of the Canaanites,

ιδών δε Ησαύ ότι ευλόγησεν Ισαακ τον Ιακώβ και απέστειλεν εις την Μεσοποταμίαν Συρίας λαβείν εαυτώ γυναίκα εκείθεν εν τω ευλογείν αυτόν και ενετείλατο αυτώ λέγων ου λήψη γυναίκα των θυγατέρων των Χαναναίων
