__III uncertain in κέχηνεν ὥσπερ ἐμποδίζωίζων ἰσχάδας [Refs 5th c.BC+]; probably playing bob-fig, i.e. catching figs dangled by the stalk (πούς); Scholia and Legal x. also explanation as stringing, chewing, or trampling figs.
