Aeolic dialect ἐϊκάσδω [Refs 7th c.BC+]: imperfect εἴκαζον [Refs 5th c.BC+], but Attic dialect ᾔκαζον [Refs 5th c.BC+]: future -άσω [Refs 4th c.BC+]: aorist εἴκασα [Refs 5th c.BC+], Attic dialect ᾔκασα [Refs 5th c.BC+]perfect εἴκακα [Refs 5th c.BC+]:—passive, future εἰκασθήσομαι [Refs 5th c.BC+]: aorist εἰκάσθην [Refs 5th c.BC+]: perfect εἴκασμαι [Refs 5th c.BC+] — This is the only Verb that augments εἰ- by ᾐ-:—represent by an image or likeness, portray, γυναῖκα γραφῇ εἰκάσας [Refs 5th c.BC+]; εἰκὼν γραφῇ εἰκασμένη a figure painted to the life, [Refs 5th c.BC+]; αἰετὸς εἰκασμένος a figure like an eagle, [Refs 5th c.BC+]; κενταύροις ᾔκασαν αὑτάς made themselves like Centaurs, [Refs 5th c.BC+]
